Rick Owens Runway Dunks styled throughout the Fall Winter 2006 'DUSTULATOR' collection. The inaugural sneaker in Owens' oeuvre; an extremely limited item due to Cease and Desist notices issued by the Nike corporation due the mischievous inclusion of a tick motif in Owen's silouhette.
Archival lace-up sneakers in soft pigskin leather. Features a chunky original side-zip closure and pronounced tongue with piping details. Features swoosh-like panelling on sides, and a low rubber sole with staples at rear. This is a historic shoe which has lived many lives; the leather's finish has developed a craquelure, and the rubber has oxidised with age. Resoled with a black rubber finish, this wearable pair of Avante-Garde history would benefit from resoling again in the future, to ensure continued on foot existence.
