Material
Constructed from advanced KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy), this helmet combines lightness with robust protection. KPA is a cutting-edge material known for its high impact resistance and energy absorption capabilities, ensuring that the helmet remains both durable and comfortable. The shell’s design and material selection contribute to a lighter overall weight of approximately 1750 grams (±50 grams), making it ideal for long rides while maintaining top-notch safety standards.
Comfort
Designed for optimal comfort, this helmet features a 180º rotating chin guard, allowing for easy transitions between full-face and open-face configurations. The wide anti-scratch visor is equipped with an anti-fog system and Pinlock Max Vision technology, ensuring clear vision in various weather conditions. The drop-down sun visor provides additional convenience by protecting your eyes from sunlight without the need for additional eyewear. The helmet’s lightweight design further enhances comfort, reducing neck strain during extended periods of use.
Cautions
- Fit and Adjustment: Ensure that the helmet fits snugly and securely to provide optimal protection. Improper fit can reduce the effectiveness of the helmet in the event of an impact.
- Visor Maintenance: Regularly clean the anti-scratch visor with a soft, non-abrasive cloth to maintain visibility. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the visor.
- Sun Visor Use: The drop-down sun visor is designed for sun protection; however, it is not a substitute for prescription eyewear or sunglasses. Ensure that it does not obstruct your view.
- Temperature Extremes: Prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures may affect the helmet's materials. Store the helmet in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Replacement: Replace the helmet if it has been involved in an accident, even if no visible damage is apparent. The protective materials may be compromised and no longer offer the same level of safety.
